Mags Simpson

Mags is originally from Moate and returned to her hometown five years ago. She has worked in the dental industry for the past 13 years since she qualified from AIT in 2009. She spent 7 years in a surgery in Galway – where she was asked to stay after completing her college work experience there – and progressed upwards to become Practice Manager.

Mags loves to stay busy, so this job is perfect! Interacting with people every day is a huge bonus, and Mags gets huge satisfaction from being able to put a smile on anyone’s face, whether from chatting to them at check in or assisting in the surgery with nervous patients – she’ll do whatever it takes.

She is constantly on the lookout for courses and qualifications that will help her to grow within her job and continue to progress. She has recently completed an online course in Accounts Administration and Payroll, and is looking forward to implementing those skills.

Outside of work, Mags loves to engage with her community. She has recently joined the local GAA Mothers and Others team – who Truly sponsored for gear – and also has a massive interest in make-up and shopping.
