Dr. Junaid Iqbal

Dr. Junaid Iqbal is a highly skilled dental surgeon with a special interest in implant dentistry, oral surgery, and conscious sedation. Since graduating from the University of Manchester in 2013, he has dedicated his career to advancing his surgical expertise and providing life-changing treatments for patients with complex dental needs.

Following his graduation, Dr. Iqbal undertook advanced surgical training in multiple hospital settings within Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, where he gained extensive experience managing a wide range of surgical cases. In 2015, he completed his Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery and obtained his postgraduate diploma, further cementing his knowledge and clinical skill in surgical dentistry.

Dr. Iqbal’s clinical focus is in complex implant dentistry, with particular expertise in All-on-X full arch treatments for patients with failing dentitions or significant bone loss. He is also highly experienced in placing pterygoid and zygomatic implants, providing advanced solutions for cases where conventional implants are not possible—restoring function, aesthetics, and quality of life for his patients.

Since 2018, he has been mentoring and training fellow dental professionals in IV sedation, sharing his expertise to raise standards of patient safety and comfort.

Known for his calm and compassionate approach, Dr. Iqbal places patient wellbeing at the centre of his practice. His goal is not only to restore smiles but also to rebuild confidence, ensuring patients feel comfortable and supported throughout their treatment journey.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Iqbal enjoys spending time with his family and children, as well as playing a variety of sports. He is an avid paddle player, currently perfecting his backhand, and has a fun claim to fame—appearing as an extra on the TV series Waterloo Road in his younger years.
