Alannah Marrinan

Alannah is the Head Dental Nurse at Truly Dental, having joined the team in July 2024. With a passion for patient care and a wealth of experience, Alannah leads the dental nursing team to ensure the practice runs smoothly and that patients receive excellent care. As the Head Nurse, she is responsible for overseeing clinical procedures, managing the nursing staff, and ensuring the practice maintains the highest standards of infection control and patient comfort. Before pursuing dental nursing, she was trained in Irish Sign Language, which allows her to better communicate with and support a diverse range of patients.

Alannah began her career as a dental nurse in 2019, building a solid foundation in patient care and clinical procedures with extensive experience in dental nursing, having worked in general dentistry, oral surgery, prosthetics, orthodontics and endodontics. In 2021, Alannah studied pre-nursing to expand her knowledge of healthcare, before returning to her true passion—dental nursing. Alannah’s journey reflects her commitment to providing excellent care and her ability to adapt and grow within the dental field. She now holds a Diploma in Dental Nursing from Trinity College Dublin, and has developed a thorough understanding of patient care, infection control, and dental practices.

Alannah has a passion for ensuring that patients feel at ease during their treatment and enjoys training and mentoring new staff to maintain the highest standards of care. She is passionate about continuing education and advancing her knowledge of dental care. She enjoys contributing to a positive, supportive work environment and mentoring other dental nurses.
